Quick Summary:

Set in the Joseon period a rumour has spread that the king is dead and the crown prince Lee Chong has been labelled a traitor to the crown by the Haewon Cho clan.

While searching for the physician Lee Seung-Hui who treated his father in hopes to discover the truth the crown prince finds himself thrown together with the assistant physician Seo-Bi in a village plagued with a mysterious disease, with the help of his loyal guard Mu-Young and a peculiar stranger Yeong-Shin they go on the hunt for answers and help.

Two seasons full of action and adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Will the crown prince discover the truth about his father, is there a cure for this mysterious disease?

You will just have to watch to find out.

Who is My favourite character:

I have two characters that I Love and if anything happens to them I will throw hands. Yeong-Shin played by Kim Sungkyu and Guard Mu-Young played by Kim Sang-Ho.

Yeong-Shin - a tiger hunter from the south and the only survivor of the first outbreak. He will do anything in his power to fight against this disease that is plaguing the land. He does the wrong thing for a good reason and works very hard to right that wrong.

Mu-Yeong - the crown prince's loyal bodyguard and friend who journeys with him to the southern province laying his life on the line to uncover the truth all the while leaving his heart behind with his pregnant wife. I love his friendship with the Crown Prince and his whole personality is just hilarious I want him to be my friend.

The best part of the drama:

The thing with this show is that there isn't just one part that stands out. All of it is GOOD.

If I had to pick my top 3 parts that kept me on the edge of my seat and hiding behind my pillow (I don't do scary) they would be in season 1 ep 3 and season 2 eps 1&2, but I'm not going to tell you why because I want you to experience it alllllllllllllllll.

There are so many things happing in each episode that as I am writing this my brain keeps saying "What about this ep and don't forget that one ep where.."

Would I recommend:

Without a doubt, I would. Both my brothers who make a face anytime I tell them about a show I am watching have seen Kingdom and are just as obsessed with it as I am. Fingers crossed for a season 3!
